    This is the kind of thing I hoped the small house movement would result in. Houses that took better advantage of the space they occupied. Instead we got crappy RVs and only unrealistically tiny spaces. I’d rather see a proper sized, but small house utilize all it’s space well with concepts like this. Wouldn’t it be cool to have a 1500 sq ft house that felt like a 2500 sq ft house because it effectively used all the space well?

    I’ve tried to explain this exact thing to so many carpenters, they either look at me blankly or suck their teeth and give me an astronomical quote.
