Or painting a nice landscape
All right, that’s fair. I guess I’m not the target audience, as all of these are perfectly fine for me on mid-range phones. (I’ve had flagships before, but these differences never mattered to me personally.)
Sounds cool
Yeah, everything is very subjective. I’ve never had much of a use of super high-end cameras.
What other flagship features are there?
I’m writing this on a Samsung A54, 256gb version, with an additional microSD slot. I fail to understand how people need more complex and expensive phones than this. Besides maybe wireless charging (which can be argued as a gimmick on its own), this phone has everything.
Although comparing Reddit to fascists is ridiculous, your argument isn’t quite right, either.
Reddit IS taking something very finite: people. There’s only so many people in the world using this type of social media, and an overwhelming majority of them stick to one platform.
If Reddit just went belly up, Lemmy would have increased traffic.
I’m absolutely no expert, but I love the one with the gigantic bridge. I love the chaotic clusterfuck as well, though.
I love frontline! Conquest is not my thing, though, I dislike vehicles
That’s an interesting take. I’m sure they didn’t mean to hurt ND people, even if they did end up doing that. I loved the jokes despite identifying with most of the “weird” characters
That show receives so much hate it’s unreal. It’s just a very nerdy sitcom. I loved it as well, although I haven’t watched an episode in a long time.
It’s FOSS!
What phone, if I may ask?
The thing with VR is that non-bigcorp alternatives cost a fortune, as Meta takes the loss on the hardware. Standalone VR is also impossible without bigcorp interference (as of now!)
That webtorrent solution sounds awesome if that’s the case
Well, if only a thousand max-sized files get uploaded in one day (from people using it), that’s 10 terrabytes of storage needed. It’s very generous to run this for free (considering the power and bandwidth required for such a service).
How is this sustainable for the people hosting this? This almost seems too good to be true.
See the edit, I was pretty tired when writing the comment. Sorry for the confusion
OMFG I MEANT 10X THE PRICE, NOT ONE TENTH. sorry for the confusion 😅
The message was that the deck has to sell less than 1/10th as many “units” as a triple A game to match the price sum. So imagine hardware selling 1/10th that of a single software. Pretty impressive.
One has a one in a million chance to kill you. The other has a 100 in 100 chance to cause you severe health issues in the longrun.
