I’m up to about 30 unplayed games in my Steam library. I really need to stop buying more.

I watched half of the first episode of season 2 then realised how utterly disengaged I was feeling, and so stopped there.
I suppose there’s still some lingering resentment of the final season of GoT which is making me feel reluctant to invest my time in this.
Maybe not “as many years as they need” because it would never get finished, but definitely allow them 4-5.
When this current “AI” bubble bursts, Reddit will be left with nothing. They sold what goodwill they had for a handful of magic beans.
The Mooncrash DLC for Prey (2017) isn’t strictly a time loop game but it might have a lot of the elements that you find interesting.
His interview certainly lent some additional weight to the theories that he’s been trying to run the company into the ground the whole time.
This is the song that sparked my love for “songs with holes in them”. Love that big bar of silence.
If you own multiple homes, then you can view all but one of them as an investment, as you can sell them when the market is good.
If you own one house and have a mortgage on it, then the market going down is bad because you end up with negative equity.
If you own one house with no mortgage, then the market going up is bad because it’s harder to upgrade. I wouldn’t mind my house being only worth £10,000 if it meant that I could buy my dream house for £20,000.
YouTube have such a stranglehold on the >1m market, that’s why they can afford to stagnate in that area and look into other markets. They don’t have to fear a competitor threatening their core market any time soon.
After Cars 2 I had very low expectations of Cars 3, unsurprisingly. It’s a miracle that I was convinced to watch it. Yet somehow I was, and found it to be bloody good.
There’s also talents that are byproducts of being born to wealthy parents
Because, of course, the things he’s been doing up until this point have been indicative of a balanced personality.
We don’t really know whether he’s out of touch or not. What we do know for certain is that he’s trying to get attention, and it is working.
Cloudpunk has really nice atmosphere but is highly linear, almost to the point of belonging to the “walking simulator” genre. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but just don’t go in expecting much in terms of gameplay.
Unless you also have a burner device for using it from, Google definitely know that both of those accounts belong to you, and a TOS violation on one will cause both to be suspended anyway. They will quote the section of their TOS related to using another account to get around a suspension.
Friend, you’re 20. The concept of “potential” being “wasted” at this point in your life is non existent. You’re still right at the start of the journey. Don’t dwell on what you think you might have missed yesterday. Make a plan for tomorrow.
My concern is that it feels like using Google to confirm the truth of what ChatGPT tells you is becoming less and less reliable, as so many of the pages indexed by Google are themselves created by similar models. But I suppose as long as your search took you to a site where you could actually buy the thing, that’s okay.
Or at least, it is until fake shopping sites start inventing products based on ChatGPT output.
I was finding that episode a bit tedious. Felt like it was just a bunch of boomer memes strung together. And then the last five minutes were just glorious, and raised it to a work of art.
I enjoyed this episode. Lots of favourite old irregular characters returning, and I had a particular fondness for the scene where the women were psyching out the men. Charlie suddenly being hyper aware of his elbows was a great concept, magnificently executed. And I’m also glad to see Dee getting some proper screen time - it feels like she’s been wallpaper all of this series so far.
Does that still require a third party launcher, or can you just run it straight from Steam now?
