I wish a lot of the niche communities on Reddit would just migrate already. We are so close, but a few refuse thus far. Otherwise, tech and apps are all there!
I ended up watching 1883 first and was profoundly interested in the story arc, only to be slowly let down after 1923 and watching Yellowstone proper. Growing up on Westerns, I found it to be a unique modern take on the time period. Unfortunately, the rest didn’t live up to the same feeling you mentioned.
Lenovo x13s Arm setup with Linux is coming along and can hit those runtimes. Will be slower, but good enough for daily work

The most recent one is, of course, Sync for Lemmy. It may just be muscle memory at this point, but I find the experience a step improvement in browsing.
On my home server front, I would mention Plex despite Jellyfin’s massive improvements over the past 2 years. Plexamp is just a magical piece of software.
For the most part, though, I think I’d reverse the question. Most of the time, I prefer OSS.
