You’re much more likely to just restart than to shutdown and need to hit the power button. I don’t think I’ve shutdown my MacBook since I turned it on, or my Linux box either. IMO unless there’s a power outage you’ll never need to hit that button. Still dumb though but i can’t imagine this as a deal breaker.

I think the joy cons make it great for party games, it’s really convenient to get a 4 player game of Mario Cart going with just two pairs of joy cons.

IMO none of them are a great replacement. I’m trying Sync right now and am enjoying it. previously I used Voyager, which was really different but felt more polished than most other apps. I really hope we can get a Lemmy is fun someday.
