Fediverse does not need to have million of users. Fediverse only need enough users to mature the technology and ecosystem.
Yes, you have to read the OP to mark it as read. After read, with new comments, post will remain as read. There is no way for that at the moment, but I think this is great idea!

There is a setting that you can disable “Show Read Posts”. This way you will only see new things :)
Great blog! I’m optimistic and really agree that it does not take that much to make this place run just fine. Even if just a fraction of people will migrate, it’s okay. All we need is just a handful of people and all will be fine.

I found this a bit confusing. Did I understood this correctly that this would be attached to satellites and it would collect metal garbage and convert it into fuel for the satellite to de-orbit?
