It ships with both Wayland and Xorg, but Wayland is the default.
Nobara 38 - Gnome/Wayland
I haven’t had any problems with gaming in Wayland. Perhaps you haven’t configured it properly, especially if it wasn’t default installed on your system.
If you’re limited to 60hz on xorg you are already experiencing self-imposed latency, arguably worse than you’ll experience on Wayland.
I’d be using Wayland unless you have some good reason not to. You will not get good performance out of xorg with multiple monitors. Vsync on Wayland will match your screens refresh rate. The experience is a lot better imo.
Champions!
The experience has gotten a lot smoother for sure! We are also getting better at using Lemmy to begin with.
Added to my shopping cart!
Im Playing POLYGON right now, it’s an FPS similar in design to Battlebit. It’s a single dev project that is quite astounding. It has Easy Anticheat which seems to support Linux.
These days I just got a plex server and a project zomboid server running.
My language is set to English and I’m in Canada. I can see their star rating is 3.7.
As someone suggested I was able to tap the star rating and see the reviews that way, but they still seem to be completely hidden from the default view.
One of us!
Nobara on my gaming PC, I keep windows on a laptop just incase i need it for something. So far literally the only thing I needed windows for is to rip a steam skin from an installer so I could port it to Linux lol.
Could it have something to do with your phone being set to light/dark mode? I’m not seeing the white flash.
I actually hate it, I keep doing it by accident.
They’re tearing it down one brick at a time!
I stuck with Wayland because literally streaming is the only thing that’s screwy for me, it still largely works. I have 4 monitors and x11 don’t like that so much…
