I’m not who you originally asked, but one of the things other than torrenting that I use a VPN for is bypassing arbitrary geo-restrictions on websites. A lot of (mostly US) websites don’t allow you to access them if you aren’t in the country, or in some cases, if you don’t live in the right state.

I bought one of those 60GB original PS3s back in 06. That was also the last game console I purchased for myself. Made the switch to PC not long after that.

For me, it really depends on how long each episode is. I would say the sweet spot is somewhere between 6-10 hours worth of content, regardless of individual episode length. Any less feels like there isn’t enough time for character and/or plot development, and any more, and I start to forget all the plot details. As it is, with many shows having 1-2 year gaps between seasons, I often feel I need to repeat the previous season just to remember what all was going on.

Aren’t prices supposed to trend downward as technology ages?

Well, using a mobile hotspot will tie the IP address to your phone, so probably not a great idea if your name is listed on the account. Honestly, just use a quality VPN and you’ll be fine with your home connection.
