    hey

didnt think i would encounter another moth in the wild.

How long have you been play?

    23 days for me

P.S: it is so god damm annyoying so but what makes it worse is you have to choice between cosmetics and making friends

    I will also add Yu-gi o

i played for 2 days then quite. You could only take so much beating as beginner before you give up. its feels like the game punishs you for playing PVP before spending 30,000 in solo.

The best example of this, is a player with all of his monsters at 0 Attack/0 Defense but any attack i do is redirected at me and i cant choice to not to attack due to card effects. Any spells/traps i use are negated by his cards. So i was just stuck there

even the ranked matchs arent any better, the whole game feels unbalanced

  • I live in Muslim majority thats is impoverished. A large part of islam comes in the form of promises for the after life. when i was still question my faith, a line my mom would use to convince and herself out of doubt was that Western countries who are mainly non-Muslim are rich while Majority Muslim are poor therefore we are the victims and thus are in the right.

Leaving out the fact that alot of Muslims countries are rich then most of the world, it falls into the narrative of this all of being an ultimately test. Add that fact that prayer are really a coin. it means most don’t expect prayers to work im the first

but also depends on what you mean by selfish. i would say my cousin is selfish since he spends most of his parents money on himself with no regard for thier financial situation to point where they have to hid the money from him, yet is more regions than your average Muslim

  • Putting my two cents here, first, lemmy is not a unified thing, its a concept just like the internet, in that since you can’t sue lemmy anymore than you can sue the internet. Theoretically, if you can, which entity will it be, the people who make the code, the admins of each individual instance.you would need to take each individual instance, each in a different court case, which can take months or years and shitton of money, since your data is shared between instance and since any individual can host an instance, you may be looking at a court case per person since each is a separate enity. There are also wanting list so you have to wait months or even an year between cases for different instances

And like realistically, at most one person will try to sue instance. What complicats this more is that we are talking about different countries with different laws and different relations. People talk about the GDPR like its the Gospel, when in reality its so much more complicated than that. For Europe, Big Tech is the pressing issue for now, so lemmy isn’t gonna be making headlines anytime soon, and moreover this includes mastodon, kin etc, pretty much any federvise that can view lemmy instance, which the same applys to them.

Lastly, decentralization was never about privacy, at least in the beginning, infact its probably worst for it, since you have to trust hundreds if not more parties with your data. Ironically, decentralization was made specifically for those cases, lemmy spirit can live on without any specific instance, the software is open and anyone fork or use , so there is no head to cut.

  • If you wanna go back to reddit and can use the app, then go and i am seriously, i browse and post on lemmy mostly but i still browse reddit on the web browser for the nicher staff, without an account

You shouldn’t feel pressure to use something that is suppose to be for fun and downtime.

My grips with lemmy are mainly On the UI side, user a lot of client, like eternity(formerly infinity for reddit) had a lot of bugs and can’t find a satisfactory client) but other than that i like lemmy

On reddit i felt too overwhelming with the amount of users, to post or comment or someone already said what i wanted to say

You could also take a break from lemmy weeks or even months and comeback with a fresh mind to see if your feelings on it changed
