Yeah, I just installed Debian in Termux last night. I’ve got a Samsung phone with a locked down bootloader, so it’s the best I can do.

I’m partial to Debian + LXDE, but it has an install option for KDE Plasma as well.
Man, that gorilla needs to work on his stance. He’s swinging like an schoolgirl.
I just imagine the most emaciated wastelander actively bleeding out and barely limping along but stopping to just, like, take in the awe of the moment, man.
My wife was a Christian when we started dating, but her opinions on LGBTQ+ issues made her start questioning her faith which led her to leave the faith altogether by the time we were married.
I’ve amended my comment to make it more clear. I didn’t mean to imply the app sends your data to third parties, only that the company who owns it profits off of third party information brokering. Where that information comes from is beside the point in my opinion.
PSA: Nova Launcher’s owning company sells their user data. It was a good launcher when it first came out, but it’s been nothing but a downward spiral from there.
Edit for clarity: I don’t mean the app itself. It is owned by an entity that exists to sell consumer data.
Edit again: I was wrong. TIL about EPR Torx. Just search that and you should find the right set.
I was told this as a fast food manager: do not admit fault, only apologize for the situation the person is experiencing. The second you admit fault, they said, you admit liability for any damages, real or imaginary.
This seems like a CYA by Intel. They’re saying that there was a manufacturing issue causing oxidation, by that’s not why their CPUs were failing. That was caused by a voltage issue that can be patched, but the bricked CPUs will be refunded/replaced. Like, why admit to two separate issues being present in your product, as a manufacturer, unless it’s to mitigate the blowback from one issue in the first place. I don’t buy it.

I’ve never been happier I dropped out of my CS classes
I’m surprised Intel hasn’t gotten into the planned obsolescence game yet. If your CPU goes out, the easiest, cheapest solution is always a drop-in replacement. Not like you can easily switch to a different brand. Just par for the course for the race to the bottom.
The red dot means nothing to me. My brain has apparently learned to block it out nearly completely.
But what if the ghost messed up their dance move and now they think you’re just taunting them? Do you really want to risk pissing off the ghost?
Thought Slime goes by Mildred…
But they’re kind of self-aware, so I think it’s supposed to make them more off-putting.
At risk of looking dumb, what’s up with all the posts about the JFK assassination today?
Fun fact: Redbox is operated by Chicken Soup for the Soul. I almost got hired by them but they screwed me over after I had already resigned from my previous position.
For whole blood, I’ve only ever been given a t-shirt. For plasma alone though, it was purely dependent on your weight and, therefore, how much they can take from you in the one session. I’m a tiny dude who barely weighed enough to qualify and got about $80 a couple years ago. It’s honestly not worth it at all, but if you’re broke it’s easier than many other options. The place was full of the “undesirables” of society because of that. It drained me emotionally, seeing how blatantly exploitative it is.
Edit to add: these plasma donations can be done with a tighter window between them too, so the people who were always short on cash were in there every 2 weeks.
Edit again: I forgot that that was an introductory deal where they give you an extra $40, so it was actually $40 for me. Overweight patients could get around $70-$80.
Not arguing, just curious: what makes chroot insecure? I’ve used it for installing Gentoo, but I don’t really understand what it’s doing under the hood.
