  • I think what you’re supposed to take away from this is actual left wing candidates who are against genocide did well this election. A big part of why Kamala lost is because she did not have high voter turnout from the left. She spent most of her campaign trying to appeal to moderate right-wing voters who did not vote for her. And she also did not get the turn out of the left because of it. She should have been trying to appeal to farther left voters by promoting actual left Wing ideas and not sicking the police on anti genocide protesters.

But hey it don’t matter, not like we’re ever going to get to vote again anyway

You are correct, but everyone is too afraid to work together to find a better candidate/ new party. We no longer can organize ourselves. We can only be organized by institutions apparently. I’d love to be proven wrong on this but watch how much resistance you get. Just trying to suggest that maybe we could do better. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

  • As a younger millennial it surprises me how little others seem to get the generation divide here. Personal computers and keyboards were very common for millennials to grow up with in the house, but I think more and more people these days don’t use desktops or laptops that often most people stick with tablets and smartphones. Gen z probably doesn’t have the same keyboard skills as millennials because of that, but on average they are definitely better with tech than we are. Their typing skills are just on phone keyboards lol. Just my 2 cents
