Believe it or not, the context in which I saw FW, the person meant “fuck with”. It was a comment about a tattoo, and their response was “Honestly, I kinda fw it.”

Oh man I remember that whole series was marketed as “the big” Halo-killer at the time, they were so confident they even had some million(?) dollar prize for whoever found some sort of secret in the game. Not sure if that ever actually happened or if it was just a marketing ploy.
But the game itself was fun, and I remember being able to dual wield rocket launchers and had space magic, so I was happy haha.
This is 100% old-man energy, but I dipped back over to reddit after a week or so and man did I forget how many completely random acronyms get thrown around there… FW, TIL, ELI5, FWIW, IANAL…
Don’t even get me started on ETA, which should mean “estimated time of arrival”, but has instead been used to mean “edit to add”, even though just putting EDIT means the same thing??
I see that kind of stuff a lot less here, and I’m assuming it’s a mix of older audience and smaller user base, but so far it’s been so much nicer actually understanding what everyone is saying here.
I’d say unless you’re an advanced user looking for something specific, it’s between Ununtu and Red Hat, and even then I’d argue that Red Hat is more for business and Ubuntu is great for home / casual use, but they’re both excellent!
While I would of course love a new ES game, I’m actually ok without the next ES game coming out anytime soon. As long as Starfield doesn’t disappoint, I think it will be good that the team has gotten to work on what clearly seems to be a bit of a passion project and got to go about creating a new world, lore, etc. Considering they have really only been working on Elder Scrolls / Fallout games since the early 00’s, I’m sure getting to branch out and make something new must have been a lot of fun. Just hoping it’s reflected in the finished project, otherwise, I think I’ll be more worried about the next Elder Scrolls than excited.
I cannot get over how good the Metroid Prime menu theme is. It’s both chill vibes and an absolute banger at the same time.
