I bought a table saw during COVID. They only allowed pickup in the parking lot. You couldn’t rent vehicles because we were on lockdown. I had no choice but to pick it up with my Jetta.

People were laughing their asses off at me unpacking it and barely fitting it in the trunk. Styrofoam was going everywhere as I broke it. Had to throw all the packing material into a dumpster.

So embarrassing.

I had this happen once or twice, caused by bad Nvidia drivers with Wayland.

I use AMD now for my day job, haven’t had a single issue in over two years. That’s not to say you should use it - it’s still a rolling release distro and will always have a potential to break over most other distros.

Come to Canada and eat any of our supermarket strawberries, they’re disgusting.

One of my Italian tour guides last year was so confused when I explained how our produce is nothing like what they have there. Strawberries are sour, not juicy, and white inside.

We do have some good local strawberries during the summer. This is why, to us, GMO is a bad thing

Where I’m from GMO is used to prevent ripening and damage during transportation which results in weak tasting and tough produce that can survive long distance transportation.

GMO has negative effects too, it’s ignorant to think otherwise.

I use arch as a daily driver. Very seldom have any issues, and any issues I do have are from the software. I.e. mesa breaking vaapi, grub breaking boot, etc.

Use stagnant software if you can’t spare 5 minutes once in a while rolling back problematic packages.

You’re asking for statistics in bad faith of the argument. Seems like you’re the one slap-fighting here - if you wanted to actually engage in logical discourse, you’d have presented statistics yourself, which you have not.

There’s obviously no statistics on the rate of how many bear-human and male-female interactions happen. One rarely happens, the other happens billions of times per day. We can prove that bears are more aggressive and dangerous than humans though.

In one black bear study 88% of fatal attacks were a result of the bear being the aggressor. Note that black bears are known to be timid of humans, and notoriously not aggressive.

So, statistically even the more timid bear species are wildly more aggressive to humans than humans to bears. Unless you have data that proves that men are more aggressive to women than bears are to humans, this is the closest we get to proving men are statistically safer than bears.
