To be more specific the first 100,000 isn’t taxed at 28%. The 44 to 100k range would be, but below that will be taxed at lower percentages. The first ~10k you make is taxed at 10%, and then it increases throughout.

Is that why the Saudis bought in? Or was that just so they could help expand their sports tournaments on Trump’s properties?
Didn’t the AI that Musk currently owns say there was like an 86% chance Trump was a Russian asset? You’d think the guy would be smart enough to try to train the one he has access to and see if it’s possible before investing another $200 billion in something. But then again, who would even finance that for him now? He’d have to find a really dumb bank or a foreign entity that would fund it to help destroy the U.S.
How did your last venture go? Well the thing I bought is worth about 20% of what I bought it for… Oh uh… Yeah not sure we want to invest in that.
Especially when a majority of the migrants have come legally on work Visas and such and then over stayed those Visas. Hard to call those people invading when they were here via legal processes.
Nah they would have added more fees to subsidize the protections they weren’t going to put in place. Then reach out to the government for subsidies to put these protections in place. Then give bonuses, stock buy backs and when it happened again, they’d raise the fees installed previously and consider making the upgrades if the fine threatened is high enough, if not they’ll pay the fine and buy back more stock and run an ad campaign to make the company look better.
MAGA is a terrorist organization. Their whole missguided ideology of “ruling by strength” is just another way of saying ruling by fear. Using fear/intimidation for a political outcome is by definition terrorism. If someone says it has to be illegal (not true) we can also show the number of arrests and violations of peoples legal rights occuring all over the U.S. Breaking laws pertaining to 1st amendment, 4th amendment, 5th amendment, 8th amendment, 9th amendment, 10th amendment, 14th amendment, 15th amendment, and the outright breaking of the law of the land (constitution) by overriding the legislature, which was the only thing keeping the U.S. a Republic.
The U.S. is negotiating with terrorists every day
I think Desantis did this in Florida and since no one stopped it now it will traverse every red state slowly
It’s not Canada’s fault at all. That said it’s hard to compare drugs like that though. If someone gave me a pound of coke, I’d hopefully not do it, but I’d survive doing all of it within a year. If someone gave me a pound of fentanyl I know I wouldn’t do it, because I couldnt survive doing that in a lifetime. Also fuck that… I can’t understand why anyone tries it
Yeah it’s 7000+ km from Florida to London, yet they both can see the Sun at the same time. You can’t see every star the same, but much of the sky will overlap.
Is this a joke or did you just state these places exist without naming any?
That’s great and all, but you do realize that in the end that ends up being pro large corporations and limiting freedoms of the people. Cities and towns would be best built that way I agree but the chances that we can completely revoke capitalism is verryyy slim. In such every convenient/grocery store in those neighborhoods would be bought up by money and reduce prices to run out small owners. People not being able to grow their own food or raise their own chickens reduces ones ability to feed themselves independently. Communal neighborhood farms are an alternative which I have seen before, but they are rare and require space as well
.25 acres? Can we up that to at least an acre. I need a place for my chickens to roam and to plant my gardens, and I prefer to have a fire pit with outdoor patio furniture and a grill. Many places an acre is the standard plot size. Not good for everyone, but preferred by many
The supreme Court is saying POTUS needs to listen to the court I thought, so there is no bailout above it. And they voted 5-4 against the administration I believe.
The way I view it is they claim to believe in a free market. I don’t know of any leagues off the top of my head that aren’t companies. If one company chooses to do it one way and it is actually bad for business, another company would replace them if it was actually an issue. But being that it isn’t that big of a deal, no rival companies have surfaced to replace them.
Yeah, but until now Republicans have been denying it. Come Monday either Trump backs down or the Republicans in Congress will essentially have to admit they are fine with giving up power to a dictatorship
It happens. I think they were trying to point out you could go to Canada or Mexico in North America or a bunch of nice countries in South America. Personally if I had the time I’d like to see Columbia. I’ve heard great things about it
So does the Attorney General know that the Department of Justice is supposed to perform investigations and arrest people if there is evidence of illegal activity?
Releasing this shit over and over just says ,“here’s shit we didn’t find any illegal activity in and we are redacting information that might be tied to illegal activity” or “we don’t know how to read so can you maybe tell us what these words mean?”
The ones he ignores and the ones overriden by a higher court with the reasoning “we’ll get around to looking at what the courts already said was illegal.”. The Supreme Court basically just kneecapped the entire Judicial branch by implying the courts rulings don’t matter unless they come from the SC.
We supplied less than 100 billion in aid and he asked for 500 billion in return. Their countries GDP is less than half of that. There was no way it was ever in good faith. So during more than 2 years of war, the U.S. spent the equivalent of 4% of it’s defense budget helping defend Europe against an invasion. What is the point of spending so much on our military if it isn’t to have the soft power created by it. If we aren’t going to defend other countries, we should be demanding an 80% reduction in military spending. That would make it so we could fill social securities pockets easily. He’s going to give all foreign influence/respect up anyways, why not do it immediately and actually start clearing debt.
Maybe not. The voted against another instance of him ignoring the court. The fact that they already ruled against it, and they aren’t changing course means the courts will have no power at all if they don’t start sticking to their guns
