It is new. 0.0.36 worked find on 0.17.4. There was just the update message. Now the app just crashes on start.

If you have it installed via the Play Store you can’t update apps via downloading a new version from github. Google signs their apps with a different certificate and Android then blocks the update.

Joplin is perfect for that. I second that :D

I forked it already and am starting to poke around in the code. Hope I can get a few things added.
