It still kept up for at least 2 generations of AAA when built.

My pc lasted over 10 years without a GPU or CPU upgrade. Now it doesn’t keep up with AAA titles but there are still plenty of games, old and new, that I can play.
They are probably just going to let companies pay a “fee” (bribe) if their truck performs poorly (fails) during the testing.
Yes that is the default mindset. My rights and liberties first before anyone elses, anyone who can’t afford their rights and liberties doesn’t deserve them.
Lawns are the one of the most watered crop in america, and we don’t even eat them. Lawns should be completely banned from places with water shortages as a start and replaced with drought resistant native plants.
There is a lot of ego to it as well. You aren’t a “real man” if you don’t drive a truck. People assume they see a truck, thats a hard working real man right there, even if it is just some guy driving to his desk job that doesn’t need 500+ hp and 4000lbs towing capacity. I can’t remember which company but a truck manufactuer surveyed people with pictures of men next to cars or trucks and the truck scored higher in things like resourcefulness, trust, reliability. And when the exact same guy is pictured next to cars, he scored lower in the same categories. Even some women get trapped in this ego thinking they are tough with stickers like “silly boys, trucks are for girls”. Trucks aren’t for a specific gender, they are for hauling bulky loads or towing. .
You have to consider the versatility of a pc to truly compare them. The pc will have better alternative uses like web browsing, the pc is very easy and fairly cheap to increase storage, you may be able to upgrade just some RAM or GPU to keep up rather than buying a new console. You’ll also have access to more games and more modding opourtunities. You can still use a controller on pc although you are often at a disadvantage in most FPS style games.
If you just want to game a console may be better or easier but overall a pc is usually the better investment in the long run.
They are supposed to serve us and provide to society, not protect their egos and their legacy.
If cost is the concern, why did it get placed downtown where land is expensive? The stadium could have been built on the outskirts where land is cheaper and they can build as much parking as they want.
We should also be factoring in the long term impacts. Over the course of 20 years is it better to have a sea of parking around the stadium or a parking garage which leaves space for local restaurants, shops and merch stores to open right next to the stadium?
This isn’t a 7/11 specific problem. In my area coffee shops tend to be the most common hit, and many of them seem to be a case of someone putting their car into the wrong gear and driving forward when they meant to reverse.
If they are going to demand that 7/11 needs bollards, then just about any business with a parking lot should need them too.
My city bought out some succesful busniesses downtown to demolish their buildings and build a new stadium with surface level parking for all the people who live outside of the city to drive to. Can we at least get a parking garage instead of surface level so we dont have to demolish businesses and homes for the benefits of suburban and rural sports fans?
Your parents are also able to contact the school directly if they really needed to get a hold of you, the reverse is often true as well.
A job that could have been done by anyone in a high vis vest and some traffic control training. But i guess canes probably argued the road is city property so it should be the city’s problem, even though it is canes business practices causing the problem.
There should be some kind of laws around drive thrus, their capacity, and blocking roads. Unfortunately since there aren’t any yet i doubt a cop could actually ticket anyone. Plus a cop is just as happy to wait in the line and block the road as well, because that has been normal and business as usual since drive thrus have existed.
What is really frustrating is try blocking those same lanes as pedestrians or cyclists waiting in a line and suddenly everyone will tell you how unsafe and rude you are.
This should be illegal. Drive thrus need capacity like a dining room. How is it fair for public infrastructure to be blocked so a private company can sell chicken? It is also a massive safety hazard.
So does canes have to pay the city to have that cop at drivethru or is the taxpayer going to pay for that?
To be fair, I’ve met some absent parents that genuinely don’t care if they see their kids again, and unfortnately it is possible for someone like that to be capable of being an astronaut.
Release an “update” with a “bug” that can only be fixxed with a raise.
I’m not sure you age but from what I understand, many people between 20-40 have been having issues finding genuine relationships and “situationships” are on the rise. I know several people that claim to be happy having 2-3 half commited partners (whom often also have other partners), but i don’t believe they are that happy, especially compared to a genuine relationship.
As others had said try to just stick to your own personallity and focus on your own happiness, changing yourself or your standards just to get laid often doesn’t work. When i was going through a phase of depression i started seeing a partner whom couldn’t commit to me the way i desired, but i stuck around anyway because it was a nice distraction from my life. A few months later we called it offand there was a fair amount of emotional pain. The relationship was kinda of toxic as well and I’ll probably carry scars from it into my next one. Even just the memories, good or bad, are constant distraction some times. My overall point is don’t commit to it if its not what you genuinely want, good relationships have been on the decline for a while so its not always your fault if you can’t establish one.
No no, one apartment building and the rest of the island is a surface level parking lot because an underground lot was too expensive.
