But only for a few seconds

Considering they are in a literal desert, they would have to be fairly sustainable to exist in the first place. Not saying it’s not super impressive, my dad lived out there when they were building up a lot of the expanded infrastructure and he has some cool stories about how he saw the desert on the outskirts disappear as they added in all the water and transportation stuff
Ah this is a good point too, unfederated links could do it since the app wouldn’t know how to open it, I use sync and links usually work but occasionally will open in the browser.
Depends on the Lemmy app you use and your phone preferences for app opening certain links in different apps ( e.g. PayPal specific links may open in the PayPal app)
But eventually you only watch the pilot every time because you forget. Everytime.
I’ve been on OnePlus since the 6, i loved that phone too. I did switch to the 8T for a cheap price recently and I have to say it’s not the 6 but it has surprised me for a 4 year old phone it’ feels more capable than my wife’s newest Samsunch
Yes but not widespread UBI, I think it would be slightly different like the reference to the stimulus checks where nearly everyone obtained it and it was widely circulated information.
Pretty sure I could get all of these screwed in with a combo of Philips and flathead
As someone who wants to get their child vaccinated but their pediatrician is having trouble getting in the vaccines, is there another option in the US? Every local pharmacy only has certain COVID/flu shots and nothing that would work for an infant
Or does it make it easier to distance yourself from those who eat that garbage up? If you value privacy, are you willing to throw it away for someone else?
I think we need some more context, other than it’s obviously not good like it’s promoted as
How would one do this?
We have been doomed as a species since forever eh?
I could see this being really fun and engaging, but also problematic. Dot hack/ sword art online vibes
How are some people so ignorant to all the terrible things he’s done? No one ever fact checks on anything and it’s seriously depressing
It’s super frustrating but as an example - my parents are deeply conservative and supportive of Trump, and also on the lower end of “wealth” and semi-retired. It is 100% misinformation. My Dad quotes the Fox news rhetoric like it’s facts, and regardless of me disproving most of the BS, he is completely brain washed. At this point Trump could run a live execution of his political opponents and the Trumpets would more or less shrug.
