I’m most certainly not. Oh look, time for The Two Minutes of Hate already. 📺

That’s funny, I could have sworn it was Eurasia last year. I must be mistaken.
The majority voted for the candidate I don’t like. That means democracy is broken.
Don’t worry, the US democracy was already broken. That became painfully clear when Trump started whining about not winning the popular vote when he was elected the first time. Being able to lose while having the support of the majority of voters is proof enough:
Hillary: 65,853,625 votes
Trump: 62,985,106 votes
Not every vote has the same weight, which is just completely bonkers and proof that your archaic system is due for a retrofit. Let’s just hope it won’t get chucked away entirely in the coming years.
Personally I hated the whole gang warfare mechanic in San Andreas, so I never finished the game.
GTA IV was filled with details and graphically very good at the time. But the constant hounding by your companions was a major turn off. Fuck that “cousin Romain disliked you didn’t pick up your phone while you were being chased by the police” shit.
V was okay, but I also never finished it. Both GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 just feels like a chore at some point. As much as I’d want to like them they just fail to hold my attention.
For me Vice City was the part I enjoyed most, not overly long and absolutely I loved the 80’s vibe. 🤤
Yup. And the preorder bonus for the first part became available to everybody at some point, so chances are that will happen again. And if not: fuck FOMO, I’m done with that dark pattern shit.
I seriously considered preordering, seeing how much I enjoyed the first installment. Fortunately Denuvo prevented me from doing so. I’ll wait until that piece of trash is patched out, it’ll probably be cheaper by that time as well. Thanks Denuvo!
Could someone elaborate which empire this used to be, for the non-US users? 🙂
I think I ended up refunding Anno 2205, that’s the only Anno installment I disliked and I’ve played them all. It’s not futuristic of course, but try Anno 1800, it is really good. One of those games where I was surprised to find out Ubisoft was still able to release something that doesn’t feel like a complete copy-paste of its sequel. The basics are the same of course, but with enough unique twists and QoL improvements that it feels like a genuine step forward.
Unfortunately in my country HBO was only available as an add-on, so you’d need an expensive cable subscription you didn’t want and then pay extra for the concent you’d actually wanted to see. Pretty bad deal.
When I moved out my first decision was to not get cable anymore. Streaming wasn’t even a factor in that decision as Netflix was only just starting here. I just didn’t care about all the drivel broken up by increasingly long commercial blocks. Lack of quality killed TV for me, not streaming.
Phishing simulations should be about educating employees, not punishing them. Train them on what they missed and if training material is available check where it might be lacking. Nobody learns from having their bonus taken away. It also only serves to stimulate a culture were people prefer not reporting possible security issues they might have caused, in order to avoid further pay cuts.
And Peter would have brought me a strawberry milkshake!
Love the “he’s an Israel fanboi” statement, as if that is a relevant argument when you look at the GOP’s prime cut of meat. Don’t forget Trump moved the US diplomatic mission to Jerusalem, opened it as a fully -fledged embassy and recognised Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, despite Jerusalem having the status of being shared between Israel and Palestine. One of the biggest dick-moves imaginable and hampering any and all attempts at a resolution of a long-lasting conflict.
I’ll just continue referring to it as Twitter. If Musk insists on deadnaming his kid, I’ll keep on deadnaming his adopted child.
Well, at some point friction will start to become a relevant factor.
Soulslike games only frustrate me immensely. I don’t mind a challenge, but when a game starts to feel more like work than hobby I’ll pass. So Elden Ring has never been on my wishlist, but I applaud those who have the motivation to git gud and persevere.
To each their own, research a bit before you buy something and accept that you might sometimes buy a game that doesn’t suit you. Mistakes and wrong decisions happen, that’s life.
Well, says the guy who turns orange every morning. 🥕
Absolutely not, as that would mean my company violates my country’s privacy laws. In my field of work there is no valid reason for wearing a body cam.
They stop trying
Shit, that hits hard, this is so me. I’ve never realised this can also be part of ADHD, I’ve always thought this was just because I’ve been bullied a lot in my youth and the resulting self-esteem issues. Guess I might be double blessed. 😅
Thanks for sharing this!
Why? Trump won fair (proverbial at least, I don’t think all the misinformation that has been spewed on X counts as ‘fair’) and square this year, but that doesn’t mean your system isn’t flawed. Votes from certain states still carry less weight due to improperly distributed electors. Same happened with Gore vs Bush by the way.
