Humans only “mark their territory” in the bathroom… well, I hope so anyway
Wow!! 😍
Good point. It does read like a liability disclaimer.
I’ve noticed that Google doesn’t always get the speed limit correct on more rural roads.
Or it can’t tell if a temporary, lowered speed sign has been posted in a construction zone, for example.
This.
Additionally, there are lazy people in every company/industry. Many of whom earn more than the average person. Oftentimes, life just isn’t fair.
I asked chatGPT what some of the risks are associated with using it in place of a certified therapist. This was the point I found most salient:
Ethical Concerns: ChatGPT is not bound by the same ethical guidelines as therapists, which include confidentiality, handling crises, and ensuring patient well-being.
They’re beautiful!!
And I heard that can sometimes happen with cuttings. Well, for snake plants, at least, so I wonder if it’s the same with other plants 😊
This was great, thanks!
TIL I can just post the link and, maybe it’s my Lemmy client (Sync for Lemmy) but it’s automatically hyperlinked (for me, at least)
Lemmy won’t let me link this properly. Is there an escape character for brackets? This is the link I’m trying to post: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernobyl_(miniseries)#Historical_accuracy
It wasn’t as bad as I thought: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernobyl_(miniseries)#Historical_accuracy
Are those all violets? 😍

Ask them about their investment strategies. If they put all your money on mutual funds, ETFs, etc (i.e. managed accounts that you can choose yourself in a self-directed account) then run.
Advisors often get a kick-back for getting their clients to invest in managed accounts where they have a relationship with the fund managers. AND you pay the fund management fees to the fund company on top of whatever your advisor charges you for their own fees.
First 30 mins is just digging holes to spend the nights in until you find some sheep.
And one with salicylic acid will help with ingrowns
I googled it for us, guys:
The longest friend I’ve ever had is someone I met in school that lives on the other side of the continent… I haven’t seen them in maybe half a lifetime now.
Buy we send each other funny stuff and random updates. I don’t know why it has lasted, other than that there are low expectations and it’s mutual. It’s actually really refreshing.
I met a few good friends by joining a local, free run club in the area. We were all the slow people at the back 😂
I moved and the friendships didn’t last, but I think that’s just part of life. The older I get, the more stars need to align to maintain relationships.
