So I have a pfSense box setup with a primary WAN & fail-over WAN. Currently using a netgear LB1121 for my fail-over (Google Fi data only card). I think the LB1121 may have a issue, so looking to replace it.

I found this ZTE MC7010CA for $120, which is hard to believe. Based on the comments & the specs it appears like it will work. Given the accusations about ZTE and the low price, I guess I’m a little weary of this. Does anyone here have any experience or concerns with this modem?

Or, any other suggestion for a 5g modem?

I use a pep link at work, solid device. Early adopter cost was high, we got one of the first 5g standalone modems on the market and spent a few grand. We also had to get a fancy antenna but it’s a solid system.
