Police say 14-year-old shooting suspect appears to suffer from psychological issues and had not taken daily medication.

A teenager in Thailand suspected of killing two people in a shooting spree at a high-end shopping centre in the capital, Bangkok, will be charged with premeditated murder, attempted murder and illegal firearms possession, among other offences, police said.

The suspect, who is 14, will be sent to a juvenile court later on Wednesday, Major General Nakarin Sukhontawit of Bangkok police said, adding that officers were having difficulties communicating with the suspect.

Police said the teenager appeared to have suffered a psychological breakdown and had modified a handgun, which was designed to fire blanks, to allow him to fire live ammunition.

Not to be a dick, but I was expecting way more than two dead people after the word ‘spree’.

It doesn’t really explain how he got it… Thailand is so strict and guns are very rare there… I just was surprised and curious at how he got to the point of getting a mod gun and getting it to do what he wanted… it’s just a tragic story all around

It is a tragic story, but given your post history includes things like:

it is now time for the 2nd amendment to be actually enacted by a well regulated militia who protects the constitution as the 2nd amendment laid out

… it’s hard to accept that you’re asking in good faith and not just trying to push the idea that gun control doesn’t prevent mass shootings, especially when the information is right there and we’re unlikely to know any more than you do.

So I can’t have complaints against the second amendment and have good faith arguments about a gun in Thailand?? This was Thailand … not the USA… but that might be a fact too hard for you to separate…

Lmao. I agree with the comment below. Go touch some Grass…

you clearly don’t know how to have a nuance view on life that has several complex issues that are not one dimensional… but again that is a take you don’t seem to understand…

having to comb through users post history (and mine wasn’t a post, but a comment… again nuance) without having a conversation in the text, seems to be a difficult task for you and it looks like you’re just looking to be combative.

This was a tragedy and yes I have many complaints about the abuse of the second amendment… but again it’s a take that the normal person understands has complex layers to…

So good day asshole. Enjoy your indignant attitude, however arbitrary it is… no point in having a 'good Faith’s conversation with you…

            Yikes.

You might need to take a break from the internet, for your health.

Of the 19 comments you’ve made in the last 24 hours, only one of them has a positive score.

But hey, it’s not my glass house, throw all the stones you want.

Or maybe you don’t care enough. Do you actually understand why nobody anywhere seems to welcome your contributions? Why not a single person seems to find them valuable.

You spend as much time on here as I do, even though nobody seems to want you here.

Are you never invited to parties but turn up anyway? When you’re asked to leave, do you claim it’s because “you guys care too much about parties” and not because you smell like a three-day “Magic: The Gathering” tournament, held in the dumpster behind a brothel?

Does it sting less than the knowledge that you’ve carefully crafted a personality that people just never warm to?

So here it is, the attention you’re craving.

These shopping malls in BKK have metal detectors on their entrances, I have set off the detectors many times with cameras and other equipment but never once been stopped. I was in this mall a few months ago and none of the entrances with metal detectors were manned.
