    That clear tube carrying the air looks like it was made for this use. Unsure how rednecky it is, but good fix regardless.

        Glad, the white bags would likely become translucent like that when stretched. Cut the bottoms and tape to to top of the next.

          I’m very impressed by OP.

          I wonder if he got them on a roll so they’re partially connected and tape over the perforation while it’s all flat, then cut through…

          Eta: we have clear bags here to separate our recycling. Recycling and compost get collected every week but garbage only every other. Clear bags keep people from cheating.

          I thought that at first but that’s just the pattern implemented in the bag to increase strength, using this much bubblewrap unless it was going to be thrown out would probably cost more than just getting the HVAC fixed haha.

      Those are trash bags taped together. You can see the pulltab chords and tear resistant pattern. This is some very high quality redneck engineering right there.

    I need a mini version of this, my apartment only has a single opening window, and it’s in the office, across from the bedroom. I’d love to pull in cold air straight to the bedroom at night
