Parts of Fateh and Mamdani’s platforms would be difficult to execute without cooperation from their city councils.

      The why is important.

Because they dont want to be held to that standard themselves. They have monied interests in Israel and the status quo. Democrat politicians are small c conservative, with the exception of some token liberal social planks in the platform.

        yup that’s right.

The system is rigged for the ultra rich and politically and socially connected, meanwhile people are struggling to hold a steady and alright job that can barely pay their basic needs.

Fortunate for people, historical consciousness is rising and people are realizing more and more how corrupt the systems are across the nation-states.

Let’s hope it’s not too late to instigate social change that can address all this.

It’s never too late to instigate that change, keep fighting for it however you can. You have to be as dogged as the opposition is. We’re doing our best in the UK and Europe. Together, we can beat these fuckers in the long run. Don’t give up because the chuckle fucks on the other side of the political ilse didn’t. They fought to normalise their stupid talking points and now they’re close to mainstream. We can do the same and the best part is we don’t have to pull wool over supporters eyes to do it!

          Solidarity! Keep it up! ✊

The DNC was captured by the wealthy. It is used as the controlled opposition party.

The DNC under FDR was very different. It used many successful socialist policies to fix the economy and massively improved the lives of most Americans.

Absolutely nothing about what FDR passed was socialist. FDR’s policies were capitalist concessions to labor in order to stave off actual revolution, which was a legitimate threat in the 30s, and was never intended as anything more than that meme of paying someone $100 to fuck off.

            Social Security

Farm subsidies - Agricultural Adjustment Act

            Many job creation programs

            Unemployment benefits

The New Deal - there’s a reason why the GOP and every right wing think tank has spent massive amounts of money and decades of effort to destroy it.

yes, because the democratic establishment has never been about using power to help the lives of the people.

just… expect it to be a fight and be prepared to get dirty.

anything that threatens the status quo of the elite, such as taxing billionaires, or contrary to Israels initiatives.
