They’re doubling paid paternity leave, from 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Apparently paid maternal leave is 16 weeks.

So that’s two weeks better than before, but why not give the kids both their parents for 16 weeks?

Not to brag but my wife has 18 months and I have 2 months. Canada doesn’t always get it right but when we do it’s fantastic.

Sounds like Canada didn’t get it right this time either.

You should also have 18 months’ leave.
