I’ve been using it for a little over a year now and have updated major system apps like Google Play Services, Android System Webview, Android AICore, etc etc, without any glitching or incompatibilities. I’d be curious to see why Android Auto performs this way. I wonder if it depends on the Google Play Store for it to work. That’s a new thing I’ve noticed that Google and Microsoft are doing, they’re forcing their products to be dependent on eachother, for anything to work. Seemingly as a workaround for people who outsource to other services, such as FOSS alternatives.
