It’s the first of 4 dams to be removed along the Klamath River by the end of 2024. The upper basin hasn’t had Salmon in over 100 years and scientists are releasing some there as a test run.

    That was a neat timelapse. I wonder how long that took, and what caused them to decide to remove it?

        Idk about that. They could release salmon there without removing the dams.

          Yeah, but I think the point is that salmon can travel upstream, but it probably can’t travel up dams.
