• Even in a very liberal university, whenever (outside of very niche courses) mentioned communism it was always the most insane propaganda. I can only imagine what madness they’ll teach in Florida. Hopefully it’ll backfire like D.A.R.E. but let’s see.

Step 1: Teach history of capitalism; Step 2: Frame it as “history of gommunizm” - pure projection, as always; Step 3: Profit

Yeah, we can’t let those ebil commies win and turn America into a totalitarian society that controls public thought. We must rigorously instill Freedom™ into the mind of every young child.

“Okay kids, today we are going to learn about how freedom defeated the horrible authoritarian ideals of communism. But first, please stand and pledge your undying alliance to this flag.”

The strangest thing about this proposed bill is that I just assumed American history classes were like this already. It sounded kind of redundant to me.

Between Floridian education kids and Elsagate kids I wonder who will come out the most brain poisoned. This is going to make a state full of Kyle Rittenhouse + Jojo Rabbit mashups, assuming they don’t treat it like DARE and rebel against the cringe.

I think this would unironically turn those kids into Pol Potists, Maoists, and Gonzaloites once they learn about the Khmer Rouge
