Ahh, a fellow fan of “all-natural defrosting” I see.
Task failed successfully
Not when’s it’s a frozen pizza. Apparently letting them thaw out ruins them and they collapse in your oven. This is a lesson I learned the hard way.
Especially if it’s one of the “put directly on the rack” variety
Edit: Lol, just realized we’ve been having conversations all day. Truly an “Are you me?” situation.
Ah, that’s funny. I just checked your history, it looks like we are both active in several common communities and because Lemmy is fairly small that means we see each other’s activity fairly often. It’s neat how that happens, definitely makes this place feel more like a community.
I just put them on a cooking sheet to avoid that no matter what.
As soon as I saw this I thought “ooo! Post it to ADHD lemmy!” but I see you’ve already done that. Good job anticipating your reader’s response.

Set a timer on your phone.
And get in the habit of starting the timer before you put the pizza on the oven
Put an Echo Dot in every room in case you lose your phone too*

how did you know what goes on in my home?
Same, but with rice in the rice cooker

Do you not preheat your oven before putting it in? Like who puts a pizza into a cold oven?
I did that for the longest time to save power. Turns out there’s a reason why the packaging says to preheat.
Yeah pizzas generally get better when cooked as fast as possible. When I make pizza at home I preheat to 500 and they cook for 5 minutes

I still pre-heat a toaster oven for at least 5 minutes. It gets up to temp pretty fast but still takes ~5mins maybe upwards of 10 depending on the model.
A win is a win.
