I would’ve shunted another player too, but it probably wouldn’t have been intentional but rather a consequence of me being terrible at racing.

Sounds like Max in his element alright.

Ed: after seeing the vid, holy shit. What a manchild. Shit like this should get anyone banned from every sport for a year.

Man. I really want to like max, but sportsmanship and respect is something he does not seem to have. The way he races and responds on track when being pushed gets real ugly, even though he has the skill and ability to not make it ugly…ugh.

He looks to be well adjusted because he’s not being challenged. I’m expecting him to start acting up again should he end up in another close fight. He really would’ve needed some correcting in '21.

That and not cutting ties to his cunt of a father makes him very unlikeable in my eyes.

The fact that fia, did not issue some strong penalties and still does not really penalize front runners for crap moves is a huge mistake…they need to be consistent across the grid…not just penalize the back markers to set examples, that front runners ignore…Max seems to have a mind set of, if it’s not penalized then why should I not do it to get an advantage even it it’s wrong… While fia seems to believe that front runners will hold to a gentleman/ladies agreement, which most of them seem to do ( Lecrec, Perez etc race relatively clean at the moment), but obviously there will always those that break it, either regularly or under pressure…

They really don’t. He got DQ’d from the race, nothing else is necessary. It’s not like you can compare this to a similar action in actual racing as no one was put in danger.

Surprised to see Max do this these days when he’s matured a ton in f1 and he’s trying to do a lot for sim racing.

He doesn’t need to race anyone in F1 at the moment. When there’s an occasion where he does, he always shows himself either during the move (last year Silverstone against Mick) or afterward (this year forgot where - Baku? against Russell).

Yeah it’ll be fun to see a championship fight again, definitely expect it to be spicy with Max.

My comment is mostly centered around his media interviews where he’s been mostly measured like when he and Perez had that scrap recently and I hoped his driving would be similarly measured.

I suspect someone from redbull will have a word with him 🤣

When I read the other guy had hit him first, I could imagine getting mad at some asshole…but, after watching the video, yeah, the other guy tapped him in a tough corner when everyone was fighting. Didn’t seem intentional and tough stuff under breaking. Max on the other hand, totally intentional.
