I just started using jerboa and lemmy itself and I can’t seem to locate options to get notifications on replies to comments. I’m just curious if it’s possible and I’m totally blind not finding it or if it’s not available.

Apparently not. There is an open issue on github.
Well it’s good to know there is some awareness about the issue that hopefully will be corrected.
