I watched the whole game.
I’m not sure how FIBA calls techs, but if it’s customary for them to hand out techs for trash talking, Brooks probably would have been gone as early as halftime. Dude was talking nonstop, most of the time it wasn’t even warranted! I think he was fired up by the Manila crowd (who are mostly Laker fans) booing him hard whenever he touched the ball.
Same goes for Luka. You could make an argument that the push to Brooks could easily been his 2nd tech. If not for that, the many times he was gesturing on non-calls.
