God it’s not quality. They still don’t get that. It’s not that they’re not stable, I think they’re actually pretty stable. It’s that they’re boring and empty and lifeless. The stories are bland, they’re hundreds of fetch quests, and they don’t take any risks

They could’ve done so good with avatar 2. So much potential with all the world elements and instead they make a boring tick all boxes game.

It’s Far Cry with an amazingly immersive Pandora skin. It’s not shite, it’s just… solidly mediocre fun? Unsurprisingly consistent?

Like, they are endlessly perfecting the formula, like any other AAA company that has found something that works.

I don’t think it’s shit. My adhd loves far cry.

What I’m saying is they should be releasing games for particular genres and stop trying to please everyone.

Quality as well. Ass vikings had audio mastering that’s outrageously bad for a title made with so much money and the omnipresent vaseline smear of TAA in the recent titles hasn’t done their art direction any favors.

So they knew it needed more time and only held it back because everyone else knew it too and there were discussions around their frequent releases of poor quality cookie cutter games.

Doesn’t matter. It’s still going to be the same Ubisoft formula. It’s a shame as well because the potential is always there but they’re too afraid to actually innovate, not even considering the actual QA issues.
